Almost Wordless Wednesday

The last photo I took of our sweet Sylvester. Right by Emma's side, of course. I have been trying to spend lots of time with Emma since Sylvester has been gone to make the transition easier. She seems to be adjusting well and is becoming quite the independent girl.

I still miss Sylvester every day, but I have the most precious memories of our time with him. For that I am so thankful!

~Tammy

PS - Don't forget to visit Daisy, Staci and Sue today for their posts in the Homemade Living series. Next week I will share my post along with Mary and Jackie.

  10. Oh Tammy, I'm so sorry to hear about Sylvester, there is nothing quite like what you share with a beloved pet, the comfort, the unconditional love, the nonjudgmental companionship; it's something that non-animal lovers never quite get. He was lucky to have you as an owner and friend.

  14. It almost seems as if Sylvester knew he was leaving and took sweet little Emma under his wing to show her the ropes so his family would have another wonderful cat in his place. Much love to you and your family this Thanksgiving Season.

  26. awww we get to see Sylvester one last time. It still brings a tear to my eye to see him knowing that he's gone. I just called Madison and she said "kitty". I'll have to get her used to seeing Emma but her love is of Sylvester. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
