We love pizza around here, and I realized the other day that it has been far too long since we had some. To remedy that, tonight for dinner I made one of our favorites - southwest pizza. I prepared all my ingredients (my "mise en place" if you're fancy like that) and got to work.
My pizza is an adaptation of this recipe I found a while back on The Kitchn. I've been making it for over a year now, and it doesn't disappoint.
Once it comes out of the oven, we dollop a big spoonful of the avocado mixture on each slice.
I didn't eat lunch so I was starving and this really hit the spot. One more thing - don't forget to add hot sauce!
